About Denali FSP – Ken Miller, CFRE is the president and lead consultant for Denali FSP Fundraising & Grant Consultants, a fundraising and grant management consulting firm located in Bellingham, WA. He then attended and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1984.
A dynamic trainer, speaker and consultant, Ken was awarded his Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2016 and received his AFP Certified Master Trainer (CMT) certificate in 2017. In 2020 he was awarded the Outstanding Professional in Philanthropy by the AFP Alaska Chapter.
Ken is presently a member of the of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Global (AFP) board of directors, the African American Development Officers (AADO) board of directors, and the Men of Color in Development (MOCID) advisory board. He is also a member of both the America Grant Writers’ Association and Grant Professionals Association.
My name is Raynell Gould (Sasaq, meaning Snowflake) and I am the vice-president of Denali FSP Fundraising and Grant Consultants and lead a team of four staff grant specialists. My father is from King Cove, AK, located on the Aleutian Peninsula and we are members of the Agdaaqux Tribe. I live with my husband, founder of Denali FSP, and have three wonderful children, four adorable grandchildren, and two cats.
For the past 20 years, I have been writing and managing large foundation and federal grants for Native American tribes and nonprofits in Washington, Alaska, California, Idaho and many other states. I have written award winning grants totaling millions of dollars for various programs and projects for tribes municipalities, villages and nonprofit organizations.
In addition, I am a certified grants manager, and I will ensure your organization is compliant with your grant deliverables, reporting requirements and all aspects of your award. I also have many years experience with strategic planning to assist with goal setting and future planning for your community, nonprofit or tribal entity.
